The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is often due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area regularly. The provider level made for intervention experiences a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to help the servicing of all prospects and enhance entry to Social Assistance sassa status expert services,” the agency said.
